New patients are invited to first contact our office to schedule an appointment, but can use the portal to check availability of appointments.

Sheldon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). He received his bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and master’s degrees from Drexel University and Messiah College. He brings unique perspective to the field of counseling having first served 20 years as an Army officer, followed by several years as an international businessman, before becoming a counselor. 

Sheldon’s clinical experience includes both community health and private practice; he specializes in working with individuals and families living with PTSD and trauma. He works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, anger management, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

In his personal life, Sheldon enjoys nature photography, weightlifting, and spending time outdoors with his family and two large boxadors. Sheldon is a firm believer in mindfulness, prayer, and a personal relationship with God.
