Therapist Positions with PHA

PHA has an immediate opening for a seasoned clinician with experience working with children, parents, and families. Experience working with adults, both individually and in the context or couples/marital work is a huge plus as well.

Our goal as a practice is not "to get large.”  The highest priority when it comes to adding to our staff is goodness of fit.  We look for candidates with integrity, training, experience, and clinical skills, who can be attracted to working in a practice setting such as ours:

Psychological Health Affiliates is an established outpatient mental health practice that has been providing services to residents of central Pennsyvlania for over two-and-a-half decades.  PHA is a mid-sized practice with two office locations: one in Lancaster County, and one in Hershey, PA.  This is a tremendously family friendly area with excellent schools, parks, culture, and recreation. Philadelphia is 90' away, NY 4 hrs., Baltimore 2 hrs., DC 3 hrs.

We are a solid, busy, group practice specializing in child, adolescent, family and marital therapy, as well as group and individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. We do considerable work in the area of assessment as well, including psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.  Our primary referral base includes family practices, psychiatrists, hospitals, churches, schools, and former clients. We prioritize supervision and provide excellent individual and group supervision.  In addition, our Christian faith is an important part of our identities as indviduals and as a group.

PHA is committed to “marrying” the benefits of solo practice with the benefits of group practice. We are committed to maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, as well as a work environment that is characterized by healthy relationships among staff, and a commitment to ongoing supervision to promote personal, spiritual and professional growth. We are also committed to being active in our churches and our communities, and to the coordination of care with others in our community to maximize and enhance the effectiveness of our work with the clients we serve.

Our staff are all involved in significant ways in their communities as well.  All are quite involved in their churches as well as other family and community activities.  In addition, we provide a number of services relating to public speaking, including workshops at many local churches on such topics as depression, child management, dealing with anxiety, grief, conflict resolution, etc.

A significant part of our identity, both as a group practice, and as individuals, is our Christian faith.  It is our desire to provide the highest quality professional services to our community, while at the same time working maturely and responsibly in a manner that meaningfully integrates the Christian worldview, when appropriate, into the therapeutic process.

If you are a clinician with experience and a desire to work in an environment such as ours, we welcome you to be contact with us for more information.

Candidates must be licensed and have significant clinical experience with strong references.  Background in child/adolescent and/or couples/marital and family therapy a plus.
